X, Y and Z

X, Y and Z
(Unedited) Poetic fantasy fueled by having written http://oxtogrind.org/archive/370
by Ricardo Bueyhombre (aka Richard Oxman http://oxtogrind.org/archive/305, aka O’Xman http://dissidentvoice.org/2009/07/taking-over-post-arnold-california/, aka Marcelle Cendrars, aka Lisa Massaciuccoli, et al.)

NOTE: Upon request (and for another reason), I reluctantly removed the names of people in the title, and replaced them with X, Y and Z. It clearly detracts from my effort, but… I am obliged to honor the desire of others for privacy, etc.

O Bailan Todos O No Baila Nadie — The most memorable slogan of the Uruguayan Tupamaros

“For all intents and purposes we were like a family.” — X as per _______________________________ (link removed as per the NOTE above)

“For all intents are purposes we are, must be a family now.” — The author, upon considering the day’s headlines, and all the time gone by since http://www.counterpunch.org/mickey02102004.html

I have a vision of Santa Clara County’s X, Oakland’s Y, and L.A.’s Z running for Governor (together!)… along with about nine others a la http://oxtogrind.org/archive/364, some of whom can be plucked from the list at http://oxtogrind.org/archive/336. I’d definitely like to see the incomparable Derrick Jensen www.derrickjensen.org and good old “J” http://www.wallacejnichols.org/wallacejnichols/About_J..html join hands in proactive solidarity.

I know Beauty. This is BEAUTY.

I hear the marrow music.

[Pause.]

After (my unbelievable) Sylvie www.sosylvie.typepad.com took the footage of our Marcello on the campus of Stanford University in prep for the arrival of Nigeria’s Noble Laureate in Literature, Wole Soyinka… we sent the video to the Tonight Show. Jay Leno invited our little six-year-old to appear on the show, but we turned him down. I can’t wait to tell you why.

A truncated version of the film can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VM-Hdn7h7tU#GU5U2spHI_4. If you check it out, make sure that you stick with it till the end. The scene with the Africans is quite a hoot. On a more serious note, however, please note that shortly after our appearance on campus — in front of Bechtel’s International Center — we were “escorted” off of the grounds for speaking out against Bechtel’s abominable privatization of Bolivian water.

Marcel (www.marcelsgeo.blogspot.com) is only nine-years-old, as I write. But he’s got ZERO for a future… unless we put and end to the many abominations which are guiding our mutual momentum.

It’s in that spirit that I share my vision with you.

Blessings in solidarity,
Richard
